Think globally, vote locally Arcata City Council: 
Last year, we let the Humboldt Green Party speak for us on the issue of Greg Allen for Arcata city council. Now that there is a special election in Arcata in which Allen is a candidate, it bears repeating: "Greens are proud to offer their endorsement of Greg Allen for a second time. Greg is the author of the Patient Protection, Police Review and Free Music & Entertainment Acts, and is a key supporter of the four other civil liberties-related initiatives, all of which have been endorsed by Humboldt Greens as a strong legislative agenda indicative of Green values. Greg supports the responsible alternative to various development schemes under discussion, which is to build up. This will prevent sprawl and provide affordable space for students, persons on fixed incomes and commercial enterprises alike. Greg is also a strong advocate for a more muscular policy of socially responsible investing, extending this policy to City procurement as well. Greg also backs living wage and just-cause eviction reforms to uplift our most vulnerable citizens. Greg Allen's candidacy not only represents the opportunity for Greens to recapture a majority of seats on the City Council, but also the promise of a deeper and more meaningful application of Green values."
