GPSBC hosts candidate's debate

The Democrat and Republican candidates for governor have been invited to debate Peter Miguel Camejo, Green Party Candidate for California Governor, who will be speaking in Hollister on Friday, Sept. 22 at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollister, 2006 San Benito St., from 7-9 p.m.

Camejo was the Green Party candidate for governor during recall election and vice presidential candidate during the 2004 presidential elections. The Green Party was established to provide a third party option, and an alternative vision for improving our society that includes: Grassroots Democracy, Social Justice and Equal Opportunity, Ecological Wisdom, Non-Violence, Decentralization (of wealth and power), Community-based Economics and Economic Justice, Feminism and Gender Equity, Respect for Diversity, Personal and Global Responsibility, and Future Focus and Sustainability.
